Tim Rogers

Education:
Ph.D. from the University of Georgia in 1983

Description of duties:
Provide School Psychological services to more than 10 Maine School districts. Services include psychological, academic, emotional and behavioral evaluation as well as consultation to multiple special purpose programs for children with special needs. Specialties include working with children with Autism and Developmental Disabilities and children with behavioral or emotional disorders. Provide consultation services to the Bangor Regional Program, a Day Treatment program for children with emotional disabilities or behavioral disorders. Provide supervision to the EMCTS Specialized Section 28 Program which provides home and community supports to children with Autism.

Special professional interests:
Dr. Rogers has a special interest in working with children with Autism and related developmental disabilities. In addition, he works closely with children with behavioral issues such as Oppositional Defiant Disorder.

Recognition/Awards:
Dr. Rogers has won a number of awards for his professional career including the Zimmer Research Award for graduate research presented by the University of Georgia. He was named the Maine Special Education Therapist of the Year in 2011 by the Maine Administrators of Services for Children with Disabilities.

Other pertinent information:
Dr. Rogers is an avid outdoors-man who loves the opportunity Maine provides to fish and hunt. He spends most of his free time on the water during summer months pursuing his passion of fly fishing for native Brook Trout.

Licensed Psychologist

Education: Doctorate in Psychology and School Psychology-University of Southern Maine  

Credentials: Licensed Psychologist and School Psychologist-Doctoral

Description of Duties:

Dr. Batley conducts evaluations for populations ranging from preschool to high school, including but not limited to diagnostic, cognitive, academic, and behavioral evaluations. Dr. Batley currently specializes in pediatric psychological evaluations for toddlers and preschoolers. Dr. Batley has additional experience in school consultation services at the school wide, classroom, and individual student levels.

 

Special professional interests include early childhood assessment and intervention, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Applied Behavior Analysis, Response to Intervention, and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports.

 

Recognition/Awards: Dr. Batley received the Outstanding Graduate Student award and scholarship from the University of Southern Maine.

Other pertinent information: Dr. Batley previously worked as a professional musician and continues to enjoy singing and playing the piano in her free time. Dr. Batley also enjoys hiking, knitting and enjoying the beauty of Maine with her family.

Conduct psychological (cognitive and behavioral) evaluations and educational assessments; parent and teacher consultation relative to behavioral and academic programming. Provide training to school personnel regarding assessments - what they are and what they are used for)
